Sahar's productions air both nationally and internationally. As a Program Producer for CCTV America 's culture and entertainment show, Full Frame , her work has garnered the highest weekly talk show ratings on Los Angeles' KCET .  Sahar received an Emmy® award for Outstanding Feature in a News Magazine in 2016.  She received Three medals at the 2016 New York Festivals International TV & Film Awards Competition

Sahar's short-form feature and news pieces, have impacted thousands all over the world.  Her work as the Executive Producer, Director, and Filmmaker on ZirZameen has received national and international recognition. She has also produced a full-length documentary for Iowa University’s International Writing Program .

Sahar has worked on national TV shows ( Animal Planet/Sirens Media ), commercials (Neistat Brothers), and music videos ( Salome MC ). She has been nominated and won awards for her work.  Sahar's projects have garnered a lot of attention from media outlet's like , Reza Aslan's website , and Al-Monitor . She is currently in post-production on Salome's Tale - a documentary about Iran's first female rapper.

Besides producing , Sahar is also a skilled camera woman and video editor.  As camera woman, she has covered events like The Cannes Film Festival , United Nations General Assembly , & United Nations Commision on the Status of Women . She is currently working for CCTV America as a Program Producer for their culture and entertainment talk show - Full Frame.  Sahar is responsible for research, booking, segment producing, directing as well as social media outreach for the hour-long, weekly show.  But her labor of love is the mini-documentary segment of the show, the Full Frame Close Up.

Sahar received a Master of Arts in Visual Media Arts at Emerson College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at George Mason University. In her free time, she enjoys taking photographs and filming short films and music videos.
